Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone

The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone is roughly 900 feet deep and a half mile wide. The first recorded account of the canyon is from the Cook-Folsom-Peterson Expedition of 1869, three years before Yellowstone became the first national park.
