Steamship Yavari Museum

This steamship was built in London in 1861 and shipped in 2,766 pieces to Peru. It took six years for mules to carry the ship over the Andes to Lake Titicaca, which is 12,500 feet (more than two miles) above sea level and nowhere close to the ocean.
